Universal TPMS Sensors — programmable, 315 and 433 MHz
Programmable tire pressure sensors that cover the large majority of vehicles on the road from a single part. We programme, install and relearn them in-house as part of any tire service.
Every wheel needs one, they have a battery life of roughly five to seven years, and they fail quietly — which is why the dash light appears the week after someone buys tires somewhere else. Attaching a sensor check to every changeover is the single easiest add-on in the shop.
Key features
- Programmable to 315 MHz and 433 MHz vehicles from one part
- Snap-in valve design
- Programmed, installed and relearned in-house
- Covers most makes on the road — fewer parts to stock, faster service
Sizing & fitment
One sensor per wheel. Vehicles with a full-size matched spare that reports pressure need five.
Installation
Programmed and fitted by us during tire service. The vehicle needs a relearn procedure afterwards, which we carry out — a sensor that is installed but not relearned will leave the dash light on.

Questions we get asked
How long do they last?
Typically five to seven years. The battery is sealed in, so a dead sensor is a replacement, not a repair.
Do I need one per wheel?
Yes, one per wheel — and a fifth if your spare reports pressure.
Why is the light still on after new tires?
Almost always because the sensors were not relearned to the vehicle. We do that as part of the job.
