Haida HD868 Truck Highway — P-metric full-size pickup

A P-metric highway tire for full-size pickups running mostly on pavement. Quieter and softer-riding than a light-truck tire, at the cost of some load capacity — the right call for a truck that commutes more than it works.

Key features

  • P-metric construction — highway comfort for full-size pickups
  • Quieter than an LT-rated equivalent
  • Full size run stocked in Edmonton — no waiting on a special order
  • Mounted, balanced and torqued in-house, with TPMS service
  • Priced meaningfully below the big-box equivalent
  • Load index and speed rating published on every size

Choosing the right one

Questions we get asked

How do I know what size I need?
Read it off the sidewall of the tire on your vehicle right now — it looks like 225/65R17. Match that exactly. If you are changing sizes, talk to us first; the wrong diameter throws out your speedometer.

Do you install and balance?
Yes, in-house at our Edmonton shop, including TPMS service. Tires bought here are mounted, balanced and torqued by us — book it when you order.

What does the number and letter after the size mean?
That is the load index and speed rating, for example 97W. The number is how much weight one tire can carry; the letter is its rated top speed. Both are listed on every tire page. If you tow, the load number is the one that matters.

Is a cheaper import tire safe?
Every tire we sell meets Canadian road-legal standards. The difference against a premium brand shows up in tread life and wet braking at the limit, not in basic safety.
