Everything customers ask us at the counter, answered the same way we would answer it in person. If your question is not here, phone (780) 518-1000 and ask us - someone who works in the building will pick up.
Do you actually have this in stock, or is it drop-shipped?
In stock, in Edmonton. We hold our own inventory in our own warehouse at 2843 50 Ave NW. If the site says it is in stock, you can drive over and put your hands on it.
How do I know it will fit my vehicle?
Use the vehicle finder — pick your year, make and model and the site will only show you parts that fit. For truck beds we also need the bed length. If we match it and it does not fit, we take it back.
How do I measure my bed length?
Measure the inside of the bed, from the bulkhead to the inside of the closed tailgate. Do not measure the outside, and do not trust the badge on the tailgate — the same model can come with three different beds. Our guide walks through it in about two minutes.
Can I pick it up instead of having it shipped?
Yes, and it is free. Order online and choose pickup, or just phone us. Order by 4 p.m. and it will be ready the same day.
When are you open?
Monday to Friday nine to six, Saturday nine to five, closed Sunday. The counter, the warehouse and the install bay are all in the same building, so whoever answers the phone can walk over and look at the shelf while you wait.
Where exactly are you?
2843 50 Avenue NW, Edmonton, in the southeast. It is a full walk-in shop, not a pickup window — you can come in, look at a tonneau cover on a truck, and drive out with it fitted the same afternoon.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in during opening hours. For bigger jobs it helps if you call ahead on (780) 518-1000 so we can have a bay free.
Do you install what you sell?
Yes. Tires, wheels, tonneau covers, side steps, floor mats, wheel covers and TPMS sensors are all fitted here. We also do wheel alignment.
Will you install parts I bought somewhere else?
Yes. No lecture and no surcharge. If we spot a problem with what you have brought — wrong bolt pattern, wrong bed length — we will tell you before we start.
Do you tint windows or fit lift kits?
No. We are asked this often and the honest answer is that neither is something we do. We fit what we sell — tires, wheels, tonneau covers, side steps, running boards, floor mats, wheel covers and TPMS sensors — plus wheel alignment.
Is the free flat repair really free?
Yes. No appointment, no purchase, no charge. Some damage cannot be safely plugged, such as a sidewall tear, and in that case we will show you why rather than just tell you.
How long does an install usually take?
Most jobs are under an hour. A tonneau cover, a set of side steps, a set of mats or a wheel-cover set are all quick. A full wheel and tire package with sensors and an alignment is the long one — allow the morning or the afternoon.
Do you sell wheels and tires as a package?
Yes, and that is the way most people buy them. The tire is mounted on the rim, balanced, fitted with new valve stems and set to pressure before it leaves. Hub-centric rings are included free with a wheel package, because a wheel that sits a fraction off-centre will vibrate at highway speed.
Do I need new TPMS sensors with new wheels?
Usually yes — four of them, one per wheel. Ours are universal programmable sensors and we program them here rather than sending you to a dealer. If your existing sensors can be moved across we will move them and tell you so.
Do you do wheel alignment?
Yes. It is a paid service and it is worth doing after new tires go on, because an alignment that is out will chew through a new set faster than any amount of driving style will.
Can you swap my winter tires over?
Yes. Seasonal changeover is one of the things we do most, and October through December is our busiest stretch for it. Come early in the season if you can — once the first real cold snap arrives, every shop in Edmonton has a queue.
What does shipping cost?
Free across Canada on orders over $199 before tax, including oversize items. Under $199 you pay the actual carrier charge, with no markup from us. The territories carry an $80 surcharge.
How long will delivery take?
Same day in Edmonton if you order by 4 p.m. One to three business days for the rest of Alberta, three to seven for the rest of Canada, and seven to twenty-one for the territories.
How do I track my order?
You will get an email with a tracking number as soon as the parcel leaves us. If it has been longer than you expected, phone (780) 518-1000 rather than waiting — we can see where it is faster than the carrier's website usually can.
Can I cancel or change an order?
Yes, if it has not shipped. Phone (780) 518-1000 as soon as you know. Once a parcel is with the carrier it becomes a return instead, which still works but is slower and you may be paying the shipping back.
Do the prices include GST?
No. Prices on the site are before tax, and tax is added at checkout the same way it is at the counter. Nothing else is added — no handling fee, no shop-supply fee, no card surcharge.
Can I order something you do not stock?
Often, yes — ask us. The one thing to know before you say go is that a special order is final sale. It was brought in for your vehicle specifically, so it cannot go back on the shelf, and we will say that clearly before we place it.
What if the part arrives damaged?
Photograph it before you do anything else and tell us within 48 hours. We replace it free and we pay the shipping in both directions. It happens rarely, but when it does the photos are what make it quick.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
Within 30 days, yes, as long as it is unused, uninstalled, complete and in its original packaging. You pay the return shipping unless the mistake was ours. Bringing it to the counter is free.
Is there a restocking fee?
No. Not 15 per cent, not 25 per cent, not at our discretion. None.
Is a tonneau cover waterproof?
No, and be careful of anyone who tells you otherwise. A tonneau cover is water-resistant. It will keep the weather off your load in normal driving and normal rain. It is not a sealed box, and in a heavy storm or a jet wash some water will find its way in around the seals.
Are all-terrain tires noisy?
Yes, noticeably more than a touring tire at highway speed. That is the trade you make for the grip off pavement. If most of your driving is the Henday and the Whitemud, an all-season or all-weather tire will be quieter and will last longer.
What is the difference between all-season and all-weather tires?
All-season tires are a compromise built for mild climates and they harden up as the temperature drops. All-weather tires carry the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol, which means they are legally rated for winter conditions and stay pliable in the cold. In Edmonton, all-weather is the honest minimum if you are not running a dedicated winter tire.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Ask our team when you come in, or call (780) 518-1000 and we will walk you through the options.
Do you sell to shops and dealers?
Yes. Wholesale is where this business started. Use the Dealer Login at the top of the page, or call us and ask for the trade counter.
